"The Finest Valor" poster was created by Edward C. Sere, retired New York City Fireman &
United States Marine Corps Veteran and John T.M. Reilly, Detective 1st Grade New York
City Police Department & Historian. This colorful poster measures 22" by 28" and displays
all the New York City Police Department Medals, (past & present). The outer medals with
ribbons are the New York City Police Department Medal of Valors that were awarded prior to
1998. The center photo displays the current medals and breast bars. This is a MUST have
for any New York City Police Department collector and/or Police Medal enthusiast! You will

appointed to the New York City Police
Department May 16, 1955, (with retroactive
seniority to June 30, 1953, due to military
service).
