Just four years after meeting in the New York City Police Department Academy
David Greenberg and David Hantz made a grand total of six hundred plus
arrests, gained a conviction rate of better than ninety percent, confiscated well
over two hundred plus illegal weapons, survived twenty-six major
investigations, appeared fifty-one times before the Civilian Complaint Review
Board, earned Fourty-three Departmental Recognitions/Medals and survived
numerous attempts on their lives. In 1973 there was a book and movie made
about their life story titled, "The Super Cops".
